Jesus’ described spiritual hypocrisy as “holding to traditions of men while neglecting the commandments of God”. A major issue in contemporary Christianity is when man-made traditions are considered sacred and imposed upon ourselves and others, creating conflict in our faith journey and diminishing the Word of God. Jesus came to set us free from the bondage of human tradition in our faith. Do you believe by faith in the Word of God or do you impose traditions that cause you to compromise scripture?
